For ten months, your body nurtured new life.
A daughter gradually becomes a mother, and along the way, her body begins to change in ways she may not even notice.
As your baby grows, so does the weight your body carries. Your abdomen gradually stretches to make room for new life—a remarkable part of pregnancy, but one that may also lead to abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti).
After childbirth, the changes are more than skin deep. Diastasis recti may contribute to abdominal laxity, reduced core strength, lower back discomfort, and changes in posture, balance, and everyday movement.
The journey doesn't end after birth. Holding, feeding, and caring for your baby day after day places additional strain on the wrists, shoulders, neck, and lower back, increasing the risk of conditions such as "Mommy Wrist" (De Quervain's tenosynovitis) and other overuse-related discomforts.
Postpartum recovery is about more than restoring your figure. It's about rebuilding core strength, restoring functional movement, and helping your body gradually regain its natural balance, stability, and strength.

During pregnancy, as the baby grows, the abdominal muscles gradually stretch and separate to accommodate the expanding abdomen. After childbirth, some mothers may experience incomplete recovery of these muscles, resulting in diastasis recti.
Diastasis recti can affect more than appearance. It may contribute to abdominal laxity, weakened core strength, lower back discomfort, reduced stability, and difficulty engaging the abdominal muscles. Some mothers may also notice persistent abdominal bulging even after losing pregnancy weight.
With proper core strengthening and functional rehabilitation, it is possible to improve core stability, restore abdominal support, and help the body regain strength and balance.

As your baby grows, so do the demands placed on your hands and wrists.
Repeated activities such as holding your baby, feeding, soothing, pushing a stroller, and other everyday hand movements can place continuous stress on the tendons of the wrist and thumb. Over time, this repetitive strain may lead to inflammation, resulting in a condition commonly known as Mommy Wrist (De Quervain's Tenosynovitis).
What begins as mild soreness or discomfort may gradually progress to pain that extends from the thumb to the wrist and even the forearm. Everyday activities such as lifting your baby, wringing out a towel, opening a jar, or carrying objects may become painful, weaker, and more difficult to perform.
Without appropriate care, persistent pain can affect not only your ability to care for your child and perform daily tasks, but also your overall quality of life—making even simple movements feel challenging.
